Biography
Jennifer has always had a great passion for Music and, from the age of 8, was singing in choirs, competing in Music Festivals and performing in numerous Musical Theatre productions. Her extensive experience in singing led her to performing arts university Bretton Hall where she successfully completed a BA Honours in Music Theatre in June 2007.
Jennifer then joined the Speech Level Singing (SLS) organisation and became a certified Level 1 teacher in January 2009, following an intensive 18 month certification programme. She then progressed to Level 2 in January 2011.
Since founding JCSS in March 2008, Jennifer has worked as a freelance vocal coach for numerous musical establishments such as kids theatre school Stagecoach, Presto Music School, Heather Baker Singing Studio (HBSS), Singlive UK and Performing Arts College – Poynton High School. She has also worked as a semi professional singer and background vocalist – mentored by backing vocalist to the stars – Claytoven Richardson.
Alongside other projects, JCSS continues to flourish as a successful studio, where Jennifer continues to move forward in the SLS teacher training programme and support singers of all levels and stages to develop their vocal confidence and artistry.
